Why should you be a Friends of the Big Bear Alpine Zoo Member?
Your membership will help support
the Big Bear Alpine Zoo, all its residents, and
provide an opportunity to educate the public about wildlife.
All Memberships Include:- Free Admission to the Big Bear Alpine Zoo for one year
- Free or reduced admission to reciprocal zoos
- Subscription to Paw Prints, Friends of the Big Bear Alpine Zoo Newsletter
- 10% discount at the Zoo Gift Shop (20% discount on some membership levels)
- Free or reduced entry to most special events
- Free docent training
One person named on membership card
Couple - $55/year
Two (2) adults named on membership card
Family – $75/year, each additional child $5.00
Two (2) adults named on membership card &
up to 3 children (under the age of 18 years);
additional children $5.00 per child
Grandparents - $75/year, each additional child $5.00
Two (2) adults named on membership card &
up to 3 children (under the age of 18 years);
additional grandchildren $5.00 per child
Contributing - $200**/year
Two (2) adults named on membership card &
up to 3 children (under the age of 18 years),
+ two (2) additional accompanying guests each

toward zoo admission
Supporting - $250**/year
Two (2) adults named on membership card &
up to 3 children (under the age of 18 years),

visit, + three (3) additional $2 discount coupons
toward zoo admission, and one (1) animal
adoption of your choice
Sustaining - $500**/year
Two (2) adults named on membership card &
up to 3 children (under the age of 18 years),
+ four (4) additional accompanying guests each
visit, + four (4) additional $2 discount coupons
toward zoo admission, one (1) animal adoption
of your choice, and one (1) paving stone with
family name in a designated area of the new zoo***
Curator’s Circle - $5,000**/one time
Two (2) adults named on membership card &
up to 3 children (under the age of 18 years),
+ five (5) additional accompanying guests each
visit, + five (5) additional $2 discount coupons
toward zoo admission, + one (1) animal adoption
of your choice, + one (1) paving stone with family
name in a designated area of the new zoo***, + an
annual behind the scenes tour of the zoo, + 20%
discount in the Zoo Gift Shop for membership card
**All but $75 is tax deductible
***Paving Stones/Plaques will not be made until after the Zoo moves

- Only the names on the membership card are legitimate users of the membership card
- Card holder must be present
- Your membership card and a photo ID are required to enter the Zoo and to receive your gift shop discount
