Run for the Grizzlies Background Story
In 1995 a family of three grizzly bears, a mom and her two cubs were rescued and brought to the Big Bear Alpine Zoo (formerly the Moonridge Animal Park). The Inland Empire Chapter of Harley Davidson owners helped a lot with the fundraising in order to bring the Grizzlies to the zoo. In appreciation for their help the Chapter was given the right to name the male cub.
